When you have been still for so long.....

It hurts like heck when you start moving.

Yep walking hurts, sooner or later it will stop. It has been an challenge. Well this whole journey has been.  Here is the list:

1- food shopping, I have to repeat to my self that I will NOT go down the cookie/snack section of the store.
2- processed food...  Just need to stay away from them.
3- Fruits, never been a fan, never liked them. It has not been easy trying to add them in meals.

How to fix this???

1 and 2, been doing good so far. I guess I look like a fool chanting " I will not look at cookies"  and I will avoid food high in salt. ( Not good for that pesky blood pressure)

3 salads... fruit and walnut with spinach. Asian chicken salad with mandarins.  Need to figure out how to make the dressings.

I need to buy staples to create meals. Fresh veggies for salads.

Foods

Went to the United States government website. Got some great sample meals 2,000 calorie a day meals.

Now my weight.
According to my height and weight in order to lose 50 pounds in six months, I will have to take in about 2,100 calories. But I can lower that if I increase my psychical activity.  2 pounds a week, more if I become more active. Baby steps!

Overall so far so good. I did not gain all of this weight in a week and it will not come off in a week.

Going to soak in a tub!!!!
